A couple of weeks ago, I pulled a load of towels out of the dryer, and went upstairs for about 2 minutes. I came back downstairs to find this:
Just in case you cannot clearly see how he’s stretched his body across the warm towels, here is another view:
It was really cold outside, and I suppose the basket of hot towels was paradise for this tiny pup (who has hardly any body fat). He laid in those towels for hours. I postponed folding them just so that he could fully enjoy their warmth. Now, whenever he seems to be cold or restless, I throw his bed into the dryer for just long enough to get it good and warm. This trick is guaranteed to make him one happy furbaby for at least an hour or two.
I know all this may seem a bit out there – over the top – extreme – for a dog. But with a face like this, I just cannot resist.
Is there anything that you do for your pet that is beyond necessary? Please tell me I’m not the only one…

He is such a sweetie! I want one…but no…we had to get the 71 pound lap dog, Jack the rescued golden retriever. And seriously…he climbs into our laps at every opportunity.
Awww. See, yours keeps YOU warm!
There is just something about the Yorkie that begs to be spoiled!
I would do that for my dog if I thought she'd like it (or maybe she wouldn't get into the trash can and pull out the nastiness and chew it up all over the house)!
Ha ha! Our baby wants our undivided attention, so this buys us some down time.
OMG how sweet is that!? My furbaby is way too big to get into the laundry basket.
I received the book this week. Thank you so very much and I can't wait to get started reading it (which may finally happen tonight)!
