Makeover

Many of you asked to see my new hairstyle the other day… So, here it is!  My genius hair wizard (a.k.a. Kate Carlson) did a great job executing the hair ideas floating around inside my head. That in itself is no easy task!

You may also notice that my blog got a  makeover and an upgrade to its own domain.  I have been toying with doing this for about a year and a half.  I had my digital scrapbook store up and running for a while.  I put a lot of time and energy into it and then one day it disappeared.  No one seemed to be able to help get it back, which meant I would have to start from scratch all over again.  I decided that if I was going to start over, everything would run from my own domain. So here I am, almost a year later, trying to get that going.  Please bear with me as I experience the growing pains.

I have a few other plans in the works for this site.  Coming soon:

1. Custom Blog Design – I have had numerous requests for custom blog designs in the past couple of months.  This is something that sort of  found me rather than the other way around. Not wanting to miss an opportunity that God would place before me, I am moving forward with this, and will have complete Blogger and self-hosted WordPress blog design services running from this site.  In the meantime, if you need a custom blog design, you can contact me for information.
2. Etsy Store – I love all things scrappy. I like fabrics prints just as much as I like printed paper. I have been sewing since I was a very young child. My mom sent me to a sewing class each summer, and a family friend who sews invested a lot time into me. Recently, I found myself admiring all the new modern quilts and fabrics. So, I have begun quilting. My Etsy store will feature these quilts along with an assortment of other quilted products.
3. Digital Scrapbook Store – Like I said already, I will be working on getting the digital scrapbook store back up and running.  I plan to bring back all my previous designs and add new ones, as well.
4. Tutorials – Many of you have asked for help with photography and photoshop. I’d like to start posting some tips and tutorials, and also point you in the direction of other great tutorials that I find on the web.

During the next few weeks, I will be continuing to update and add things to this site. What you see here in the Navigation Bar and the Sidebar are just temporary. Check back often or subscribe to this blog to see what’s new!
